Qualifications/Experience

  • National Diploma /Degree in Education
  • National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or relevant qualification with NFQ level 6 and above
  • PGCE(Ideal)
  • Strong overall ICT knowledge
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, particularly for the purpose of training and mentoring others
  • Experience in dealing with Educators, learner and associated parties in the learning environment

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support and aiding with the development of ICT integration tools and methodology in education
  • Implementation and analysis of new technologies which may support and improve the learning process for both Educators and Learners
  • Analyse and rectify gaps in current delivery methods
  • Developing e-Learning courses and driving implementation of special projects where necessary
  • Identifying the best technology(fit-for-purpose) as per skill and resource allocation at Basic Education Level(school environment)
  • Provide learning technology advice and support to educationalist, assisting in adaption or reuse of e-learning resources
  • Deliver one-on-one or group sessions to Educators
  • Present benefits of ICT tools and integration to Educators
  • Provide quality training, coaching, mentoring and guidance across all levels (Beginner to Advanced Level Educators)
  • Provide input into lesson plans for Educators as a value-added service
