Job Overview

Our client is a Community Growth Management Company (RF) Limited and Collective Schemes license holder seeking a target-driven individual to join the Chief Executive Officer to build their brand and onboard new prospective clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B Com degree in finance or related qualification.
  • Regulatory Exam RE 5 (advantageous).
  • 5 years of client relationship management (client-facing) in a financial services environment.
  • Relationship management and networking with clients.
  • Lead chasing and new client onboarding.
  • Marketing the brand to attract new business opportunities.

 

Duties

  • Building relationships to bring on new business and gain traction across an even wider range of funds and managing the onboarding process.
  • Focussing on medium-sized pension funds as well as larger funds for new business opportunities.
  • Creating marketing content and driving brand awareness in the market through different marketing initiatives and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Establishing strong relationships with South African institutional clients (Pension Funds and Investment Consultants).
  • Identifying and researching new business opportunities through various networks and leveraging on the current client base to build portfolios.
  • Take responsibility of the take-on of new investment mandates, restructured mandates and the disinvestment process.
  • Drive retention and servicing of business clients.
  • Develop and keep up to date information of the pipeline and potential business.
  • Strive to improve client engagement and actively tracking processes within the target market.
