Information like their current location, dates (or duration) of employment, lack of responsibilities listed or stipulating that they are currently employed when they have been unemployed for a few weeks, or months. Information as simple as this is crucial for recruiters or future employers to understand your career history and make an adequate decision on whether to pursue your application or not. We’ve put together simple “CV Layout Tips” to assist you in preparing your CV for recruiters and future employers to assist in getting your application noticed, reviewed, and potentially called in for an interview. Important information you should have on your CV:
  • Name and surname
  • Your current living location
  • Contact information like your cellphone number (and an alternative contact number) as well as an email address
  • Your qualifications (secondary and tertiary education)
  • Training or courses that you may have attended or completed
  • Dates (duration) of employment
  • Company names that you have worked for
