Job Overview

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the projects across there lifecycles
  • Identifying and acting on any issues that may impact the effective, efficient resourcing and support to the project, including implementing standard processes and reports
  • Managing all key stakeholders, including the client, consulting engineers, and subcontractors
  • Lead the way on-site to minimize risk and improve HSE initiatives
  • Implementing project monitoring systems, particularly focusing on time, cost, resources, and quality (project controls and earned value)
  • Closely working with project managers and project leads to update on expectations and timelines

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Have a minimum of 6 years of project construction experience in the infrastructure sector, including at least 2 years as a Construction Project Manager (or similar)
  • Ability to manage projects from planning/programming stage through to completion
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering large complex projects
  • A strong, demonstrated history of managing others, including performance management, safety management, and  managing  communications with trade union representatives
  • Experience in planning controls processes such as base-lining, version control, importance of traceability of changes, using multiple calendars and working times
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring a team
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to influence team members
